After a delectable breakfast, we will drive to the pretty Kizimkazi fishing village. Hop on a motorized boat with a local guide and start your water safari as you search for schools of bottlenose dolphins. Dolphins are super sociable and you can plunge into the warm waters to swim and play with them. Afterward, return to the beach for a light lunch, and to snorkel in the shallows. This afternoon we will head into the shimmering greens of the Jozani Forest, one of the last remaining habitats of the red colobus monkey. Hike the nature trails with an expert guide, watch the monkeys swinging overhead, breathe in the sweet scent of eucalyptus, and cross the floating mangrove bridge. Return to the hotel for a sumptuous feast and delicious drinks.

You can buy everything from hand-carved chests to exotic silks. Duck into the grandiose cathedrals, listen to the call to prayer, admire the Arab fort, and wind your way through endless alleyways until you stumble upon the bustling marketplace. Choose somewhere to lunch in town before climbing onboard a boat and sailing out to Prison Island. Zanzibar is a place of many stories and Prison Island has many tales to tell. A guided tour around the island will introduce you to the heartbreaking and colorful past of the island, but it also boasts impeccable views over to Stone Town and brilliant beaches that dazzle with coral gardens. Snorkel the reefs and fall in love with the giant tortoises who make their home here. This evening you will return to the hotel for a final eve of sheer bliss.
