Morning (08.30am) pick up from your residence/hotel. We will brief you on your safari details and depart for Lake Nakuru National Park, with our first brief stop at the Great Rift Valley View Point for photos. Famously Lake Nakuru attracts vast numbers of fabulously coloured pink flamingos to its shallow waters. Known all over the world for its flamingos, it's alkaline and is harboring a population of over 40 black and over 60 white rhinos, but the flamingos, of course, have always been the main attraction. At times, there may be almost 2 million flamingoes in the residence, forming a stunningly beautiful deep pink band around the edge of the lake shore. We will have our lunch in Nakuru town/ take picnic packed lunches to save time. After lunch we embark on an afternoon game viewing drive in Lake Nakuru Park, in search of its diverse wildlife and birds. This Great Rift Valley lake attracts over 400 different bird species, including many water birds. This birding haven hosts species such as the great white pelican, African spoonbill, yellow-billed stork, lesser and greater flamingo, and long-crested eagle. The Lake Nakuru National Park is known as an important wildlife sanctuary for some of Africa's endangered species, especially black and white rhinos, and Rothschild's giraffes. The game reserve is home to lions, waterbuck, buffalo and baboons, which we keep an eye out for on our game drive. Dinner and overnight at a budget Semi Luxury Town hotel.

After breakfast, we depart for the Masai Mara. Ascending through the Western wall of the Great Rift Valley floor, we reach arguably Kenya’s most celebrated natural attraction-The Masai Mara game reserve. A 1,500 sq. km slab of open Savannah dotted with acacia trees-the Kenyan section of the wildly beautiful Serengeti plains, teems with wildlife. Being in the Mara has been described by some authorities as ‘’ being in the New York of the natural world’’ You will spend the next 02 nights here to explore. The Mara offers wildlife in such variety and abundance that it is difficult to believe: over 450 species of animals have been recorded here. You will easily see lions, rhinos, hippos, crocodiles, giraffe, wildebeests, zebras, buffalo, warthogs, hyenas, jackals, wild dogs, buffalo, leopard, many kinds of antelopes and elephant. It is in the Mara that perhaps the most spectacular event of the natural world takes place. This is the annual migration of millions of wildebeest and zebra from the Serengeti (Tanzania) in search of water and pasture. Following on their heels are the predators of the savanna. Lunch will be served at the camp, followed by an introductory thrilling afternoon to evening game drive. After our game drive, we return to the tented camp bordering on Masai Mara Game Reserve for dinner and our next overnight stay.

The next two days are set aside for game viewing in Kenya's finest wildlife park, the Masai Mara National Reserve. Our morning and afternoon game drives take us in search of Africa's Big Five and the plethora of other wildlife inhabiting this vast Kenyan game reserve. On clear days, the Mara offers fantastic orange-tinged sunsets that make for spectacular photos. Dinner and overnight at the camp.

We head off into the bush on an early morning game drive in Masai Mara Reserve, before enjoying breakfast back at camp. Then we return to bustling Nairobi, the capital of Kenya, arriving in the afternoon around 1530hrs. This Budget Masai Mara & Lake Nakuru Safari ends upon arrival in Nairobi.
